Today I want to blog about the auto immune disease lupus and hopefully spread a little awareness about the condition that I and  over 30,000 people in the uk alone suffer from. So some of you may ask." What is lupus?" and you would not be the first person to ask me this question.Its a disease that many have not heard of yet it is more common than leukaemia and Ms.Here is an insite into what lupus is,
Lupus is an autoimmune disease, a type of self-allergy, whereby the patient's immune system creates antibodies which instead of protecting the body from bacteria & viruses attack the person's own body tissues. This causes symptoms of extreme fatigue, joint pain, muscle aches, anaemia, general malaise, & can result in the destruction of vital organs. It is a disease with many manifestations, & each person's profile or list of symptoms is different. Lupus can mimic other diseases, such as multiple sclerosis  making it difficult to diagnose.

When a lupus sufferer is ill we call it flaring unfortunately at the moment I am flaring pretty bad.My back and hips are locked and my body aches.I have multiple mouth ulcers ,pains under my feet in my jaw and the list goes on............I take something called methotrexate which is an immune suppressant but it was making me very sick so I am moving on to the injection form now, its not so bad as I only have to do it once a week.I am curled up on the couch with my numerous hot water bottles having a complete rest day.Its so cold outside and my joints are hurting really bad so just a very lazy day for me. My friend Simon had a fabulous fancy dress birthday party at his house at the weekend. I decided to go as someone from The Twilight Saga...maybe a cullen.Well some sort of vampire anyway.

Well on September 16th I am jetting off to Florida for 3 days then onto a western carribean cruise for a week ,back to Florida for 4 nights then returning back to the UK.I saw a dress today which I thought would look lovely for an evening at sea, so I bought it.What do you think?

Trip to Llandudno

Had a brilliant time taking in the sites of Llandudno.I stayed in a beautiful bed and breakfast called Escape which is currently the fourth coolest rated B&B in the country.This is it from the outside.

The wallpaper in the bedroom we stayed in was LED it was so gorgeous especially in the evening.I really want some for my room at home now!

Maxi dresses

I absolutely love maxi dresses, so perfect as a laid back look with sandals or ballet pumps and then with a pair of heels and jewellery for the evening. I think every girl should have at least one. I also think they look so cute on pregnant ladies. What do you think? Which type do you like?

I first saw Freida Pinto in slumdog millionaire and rumour has it that she is set to be a bond girl in the new James Bond movie.I think she is so exotic looking her eyes are beautiful and she has amazing hair and skin x

Marilyn Monroe was so beautiful,I think her features are so lovely and she had such a beautiful smile.

Ana Beatriz is so pretty.She looks natural and feminine.I love her hair!

I have always thought that Adriana Lima was stunning.I dont think you could get more perfect.Her eyes are so pretty and I love how fun she is when she models.I think she has a great personality.











Audrey Hepburn had such elegance.Her lovely delicate features almost remind me of a little fairy.She had such great style .She always looked so well presented and classy with just the right scarf or bag to complete her look.

I dream of........

Ok so here is a few things that I really want but probably wont get ,hey a girl can dream!

Firstly are these beautiful shoes.I have a thing about butterflies anyway and these heels make me thing of summer nights sipping cocktails on the veranda......bliss :)

I dont know if any of you have seen the spere of life collection but I think they are the cutest thing ever.I love jewellery anyway and I have lots and lots.Ithink a nice piece of jewellery finishes an outfit of perfectly.How about you? Butterfly kisses

Well its been a crazy year so far so many bad things have happened and it is pretty hard to remain positive. I do believe that everything happens for a reason and I also believe in fate but sometimes it would be nice for the dark cloud to linger somewhere else.
When I get times in my life like this I turn to spirituality and especially reiki for my ailments, it seems to help me face the world with a calmer approach but it doesnt work for everyone. I am the type of person that worries alot especially about other people and it tends to make my already bad health so much worse.

Does anyone here have things they do to make themselves feel better? On a normal day all it takes for me is to sing my favourite song or go for a walk in the countryside.How about you?
